Plantains

Azarina (Latin Asarina), or Maurandia (Latin Maurandia) is a climbing perennial flowering plant of the Plantain family, but some sources attribute asarin to the Norichnikov family. There are about 15 species in the genus. The plant originates from Mexico, California and the middle part of the United States, however, since the 17th century, the popularity of asarin has grown so much that it has spread to all continents.
